Learn the ancient technique of lost wax casting to make a silver ring of your very own. In this two day workshop (10-4 each day) you will learn how to carve waxes, make moulds, cast molten metal into the mould, followed by finishing and polishing. By the end of our time together, you’ll be able to take home a shiny new treasure! No experience necessary!

* An annual membership fee ($35) to the Calgary Rock + Lapidary Club is required for access to their jewelry studio, where our classes will be hosted. This membership has its own perks beyond our class time and is valid for the calendar year.

* A $15-40 materials fee (depending on the amount of silver used for the ring) is due to the instructor by the end of the workshop.
